Signing Up Support

To be eligible to sign up to the EP Casting Community, you must have the legal right to work in the UK and be aged 16 years old or over. If you are 16, you must have completed your GCSEs.

If you are under the age of 16, your parent or guardian can sign you up to one of the minors' casting agencies which use EP’s casting technology.

Currently, we are only able to accept artist applications from individuals who have a permanent base within the UK and the relevant right to work documentation.

Unfortunately, student visa holders are not permitted to work as entertainers or in a self-employed capacity, so we are unable to approve profiles for those on a student visa.

You must be 16 years old to sign up to the EP Casting Community and have completed your GCSEs. Parents or guardians can sign up minors under the age of 16 directly with one of the minors' casting agencies which use EP’s casting technology.

Eligibility requirements for minors may differ depending on the specific agency. Please contact them directly with any questions about signing up.

No. Our sign-up process is entirely online. While we do sometimes hold in-person registration days, these are sporadic depending on demand.

If you have heard about a specific role or project that interests you and you have yet to create a profile with us, please complete our online application and refer to the How did you hear about us section of the application. In some cases, there will be specific references you can select to indicate the role you are applying for (e.g., Reference: MILITARY). From the moment you sign up, your profile will be accessible to all the casting agencies who use the EP Casting Community. Please ensure that your profile contains as much information as possible to maximise potential job offers.

If you are unable to create an EP Account, it's likely that your email address is already linked to an artist profile. To access your profile, enter your email on the login screen, select Forgot password?, then follow the instructions provided.

The UK Reporting Rules for Digital Platforms require digital platforms to verify the identity and tax details of sellers who use their platforms to earn income (for the purposes of the EP Casting Portal platform, “sellers” includes individuals who sell their supporting artist services). This is part of the due diligence obligations aligned with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s Model Rules for Reporting by Platform Operators.

We accept any of following documents as proof of address:

• Driver’s licence
• A phone or utility bill dated within the past three months
• A bank statement dated within the past three months (please redact/remove any financial information)

You can upload a photo of an original document or a screenshot of a digital document. Please make sure that the image is clear and that your name, address and the date of the document (if applicable) are clearly visible.

Your measurements are a key part of your profile and are used for a variety of reasons, like when booking doubles or when production needs to fulfil a certain brief (e.g., tall basketball players) or provides wardrobe. We require you to submit one Face and one Main photo when you sign up.

• Face: This should be a forward-facing colour photo of you from the shoulders up (like a passport photo).
• Main: This should be a full-body head-to-toe colour photo of you in a neutral pose. It should not be a selfie.

In your photos, please ensure you are standing against a solid white or light colour background. You should have a neutral expression and minimal makeup. Please avoid wearing hats, sunglasses or other obstructive accessories or using props or filters.

It’s important that your photos meet these guidelines in order for casting agents to consider you for roles. For more information, see our Photos page.

No – professional headshots cannot be used to consider you for supporting artist work as they are often retouched and edited. For more information, see our Photos page.

While we understand that personal and artistic expression are important, we encourage you to infuse your personal style while dressing in a professional manner that you would like to be seen by casting agents, production teams and other industry professionals.

Casting agents recommend neutral, form-fitting clothing and minimal makeup so that they can get a true sense of what you look like. Please avoid wearing white, as well as sunglasses, hats and other obstructive accessories.

Please also ensure that you wear clothes that cover your torso and chest in your Face and Main photo. Additional photos, including photos of you wearing specific clothing like a uniform, formal dress or bathing suit, can be uploaded to your profile once you have submitted your application.

Please check that your photo is in .jpeg or .png format. Our platform does not accept photos in other formats, such as .pdf.

If you are trying to upload photos to your Main and Face slots, please note that they must meet our photo guidelines in order to be accepted (for more information, see Photos). If your photos are not accepted, please re-review our photo guidelines, retake your photos, and reupload them.

Yes, you can add vehicles that you own and are willing to work with in the Vehicles You Own section of your profile. Be sure to include as much information as you can, including vehicle type, make, model, colour and year. We will continue to add vehicle options to our system; if you don’t see information that matches your car, include what you can and check back for updates.

Please make sure you have completed all of the mandatory fields on the application. These will be highlighted orange and will also be listed at the top of each page of the application. The progress bar along the top of the application will also show as red for any sections which are missing mandatory data.

In order to sign up to the EP Casting Community, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in the UK. For more information, see our Right to Work Documents page.

Once you have completed all required steps of the sign-up process and submitted your application, your profile will be viewable by casting agents who use the EP Casting Community. Keep an eye on your emails and texts as this is how casting agents will contact you if you’re the right match for a job.

We also recommend that you log in to your profile and complete as many of the additional fields as possible. The more information you provide on your profile, the more searches you’ll appear in and the better your chances of being cast!

It’s also a good idea to update the information on your profile every six months so that casting agents know it’s up to date.
