Getting Paid
Getting paid is simple thanks to our pioneering digital payment technology.
How payment works
A supporting artist’s pay is based on where the production is filming, the type of workday, whether the production is operating under a particular agreement, and a variety of other factors like overtime, supplementary fees, meal allowances and more.
All rates will be visible in the availability enquiry sent by the agent. You should review them and make sure you are happy with them before you put yourself forward for the job.
After your workday, all your pay information will be included on your chit. A chit is your digital timecard for the day. It records your pay information and is reviewed through the Job Review tab of your profile. On wrap, your chit will be available once production has submitted it for your review.
Review your chit
On wrap, you will receive an email once your chit is ready to review. Log in to your profile and go to the Job Review tab to view. A job review is the digital version of a paper chit. You have 24 hours to approve it or raise a query after wrap.
Approve your chit
Review the figures on your chit carefully and if you are happy, click Approve. If you spot anything amiss, you will need to raise a query. Production will review your query and you will receive another email once your chit is ready to re-review.
Payment
Once the review period has ended and all queries have been resolved, we will invoice production for your earnings. Once production pays, we will pay you the net amount due (after any commission, admin fee and VAT deductions).
How long does payment take?
We aim to complete the payment process within four weeks but as several factors are outside our control (like the time it takes production to resolve queries or pay invoices), we ask artists to allow eight weeks for payments to arrive. If there is a delay beyond that, our team will keep you informed.
