Right to Work Documents
You won’t be able to work as a supporting artist unless production can confirm that you have the right to work in the UK, so it's essential that you upload the correct right to work documents to the ID Documents section of your profile.
What ID Documents to Upload
British and Irish citizens
If you’re a British or Irish citizen, please provide a photo or scan of the photo page of your passport, as well as your passport number. If you don’t have a passport, you can provide your National Insurance number and a scan of your birth certificate.
Non-British and Irish citizens
If you’re a citizen of any other country, please provide a photo or scan of the photo page of your passport or National ID card and your nine-character Home Office share code. If you don’t have a share code, you can get one via the UK Government website.
Student visa holders
Unfortunately, student visa holders are not permitted to work as entertainers or in a self-employed capacity, so we are unable to approve profiles for those on a student visa.
As supporting artist work is paid work, you’ll also be required to provide your National Insurance number during the sign-up process for tax purposes.
How to Upload Proof of Your Right to Work
Make sure all information on your document uploads is clear and visible.
Step 1
In the ID Documents section of your profile, scroll down to the Right to Work section and upload a photo or scan of the photo page of your passport.
Step 2
Enter your passport number and (if applicable) your nine-character Home Office share code in the relevant fields.
Step 3
If required, upload a photo or scan of your current visa, residence permit, residence card or equivalent immigration documentation in the Visa Scans field.
