The EP Casting Community is the UK’s leading supporting artist database, used by casting agencies to find and book supporting artists for major films and TV shows. By signing up, your profile will be visible to the different casting agencies who use the EP Casting Community to cast supporting artists in productions.

The EP Casting Portal is the tech platform used by casting agencies and productions across the UK to find, book, manage and pay supporting artists on film and TV productions.

It works in two ways:

The EP Casting Community is EP’s database of supporting artists. When you sign up, you create a profile on the Casting Portal that’s visible to all the casting agencies who use the EP Casting Community to find and book supporting artists.

Independent casting agencies also use the EP Casting Portal to run their own private book of supporting artists. If you’re registered directly with one of these agencies, you’ll manage your profile through the same platform.

No. Entertainment Partners is a global provider of production technology, including casting solutions used by casting agencies worldwide to find, book, manage and pay supporting artists in film and TV productions. Entertainment Partners does not play an active role in casting supporting artists in film and TV productions.

It depends on the agency. Some casting agencies find and book supporting artists exclusively through the EP Casting Community. If you’re signed up to the Community, your profile is already visible to them – no separate registration needed.

Other agencies maintain their own private book of artists using EP’s casting technology but may occasionally cast from the EP Casting Community. If you'd like to register directly with one of these agencies, you can do so through their website (note that you’ll need to manage each profile separately).

Registered with multiple agencies?
If you use the same email address across profiles, you can switch between profiles via the Profiles tab at the top of your EP profile.

The casting agencies which use the EP Casting Community cast a wide range of productions, including feature films, TV shows, music videos, ads and other projects.

While the casting agencies which use the EP Casting Community mainly cast supporting artists, they may occasionally be asked to provide featured roles for productions.
