Availability enquiries will always originate from one of the agencies using our casting technology. If you are uncertain about the legitimacy of a message, you can always check your artist inbox on your profile. All messages sent via the platform will display there.
No, messages sent via the EP casting platform are only in English.
Casting agents will review their responses then reach out if they intend to book you. If you are not selected, you may not hear from anyone. Remember, you're booked when you accept an offer for work and receive details.
Yes, always respond as soon as you can. Some messages will expire after a certain amount of time. When this happens, you will see a notification that submissions are closed.
No, you cannot reply to texts from casting agents sent via the EP casting platform. Instead, click the link in the text message and follow the instructions in the message.
No, you cannot call the number from which casting agents send texts via the EP casting platform. Instead, click the link in the text message and follow the instructions in the message. If you need to contact a casting agency directly, see our Casting Agencies page for contact details.
After you respond to a message sent via the EP casting platform, you will receive an email confirming that it was received. You can also check the inbox on your profile, where you can see every message you receive via the platform as well as confirmation of your responses.
Casting agents may only accept responses for a certain period and your message may have expired. If the message has expired and the agent is no longer accepting submissions for the role for which you were contacted, you will see a page that explains this when you try to respond.
If you don’t hear back with an offer for work and details, you are not booked. However, given the volume of roles being processed, please be patient as it may take some time to receive a response.
Yes, you are responsible for letting casting agents know when you are available to work. Once you are booked, you are also responsible for not becoming double booked.
If you are no longer available to attend a booking, please let the relevant casting agent know as soon as possible so that they can make alternative arrangements.
Note: You will need to contact the casting agent directly as you cannot amend your confirmed availability on the platform. You can find the agent’s details on the availability enquiry or our Casting Agencies page.
You are not booked unless you accept an offer for work and receive details.
A message asking if you are available to work is not an offer to work. If you respond that you are available and if you are then selected, you will receive an offer for work in a separate message.
While you may receive an email or text message, all communication with casting directors and production companies happens through the EP casting platform. Click the link in the email or text message to respond.
Casting agents will try to get the shoot details (e.g., call time and exact location) as soon as possible but, due to the nature of filming, this may not be until the evening before the shoot. If you haven't heard anything by 5pm the day before the shoot, please contact the relevant agency, quoting the name of the project and your character.
For agency contact details, see our Casting Agencies page.
You can find your message responses in the Inbox of your profile.
As part of the sign-up process, you provided your mobile number to Entertainment Partners so that casting agents can contact you about jobs for which you would be a potential match. If you no longer want us to reach out to you via text message, you can remove your phone number from the contact field. Note: Removing your phone number from your profile may make you more likely to miss availability enquiries or booking messages from casting agents and may make it harder for casting agents to reach you with urgent updates.
